First arcade game to integrate X (formerly Twitter)

Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown is the first arcade game to allow players to link together their Virtua Fighter and Twitter accounts. This means players can follow each other’s fortunes (or otherwise) while they punch and kick their way through bouts. Impressive combat moves are posted automatically on to the fast-growing social network. According to Sega, 16% of Japanese internet users have Twitter accounts.
