Largest magic convention

First held in 1952, the largest magic convention regularly attracts over 3,000 magicians and is held annually by Blackpool Magicians’Club in Blackpool, Lancashire, UK, generally on the last weekend in February. In its 63rd year, a record 3,613 tickets and invitations were issued to professional magicians from across the world to attend a three-day festival of performances, lectures and galas. The convention was held at the Winter Gardens & Opera House on 20-22 February 2015.

Blackpool Magicians’ Club was formed in April 1941 as North West Magicians’ Club. It changed its name in February 1951 to Blackpool Magic Circle and, shortly afterwards, to the current Blackpool Magicians’ Club.
