Aura Valentina Simmons (aka Aura V, b. 5 July 2017) was eight years 211 days old when she won Best Children’s Music Album for Harmony – in collaboration with her father, FYÜTCH (both USA, b. Harold Simmons II; formerly known as Future the Artist) – at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California, USA, on 1 February 2026.

Blue Ivy Carter (b. 7 January 2012), the daughter of musicians Beyoncé and Jay-Z, won Best Music Video as a featured artist on her mother’s “BROWN SKIN GIRL” at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards on 14 March 2021, aged nine years 66 days, and had previously been the Grammys’ youngest individually credited winner.

The country trio The Peasall Sisters (Hannah, Leah and Sarah) won an Album of the Year Grammy at the 44th awards in 2002 for performing Maybelle Carter’s “In the Highways” on the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack album. At the time, Leah was eight years old (Hannah was 11 and Sarah was 14) and remains the youngest Grammy winner not individually credited.

Rooted in jazz, soul and hip-hop since his career took flight in the mid-2000s as a member of The Legendary Biscuits and Gravy, who provided support for the likes of Kanye West and Nappy Roots, Harmony is musician and educator FYÜTCH’s latest venture into the world of children’s music. He has credited the project with allowing him and his daughter – described as “still a full-time third-grader” – to grow closer together.

Aura V gave a shoutout to Icelandic singer (and Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album winner) Laufey during her acceptance speech, and is also a fan of Taylor Swift and KATSEYE. Her Spotify profile reads simply: “I love the music that I made. I was inspired by my Dad. I love making music. It’s so fun.”
